Hamburg on 15 and 16 October 2010
It's about one year since the first devopsdays 2009 took place in Belgium. Since then we have had successful conference in both Australia and the United States. Now we are back home in Europe. The details for the next devopsdays are: Location: East Hotel in Hamburg/Germany Date: Friday, 15th - Saturday 16th October 2010 (image Source) We currently have a call for speakers open and hope to finalize the program around 15 of September.

If you've heard me talk about Agile Infrastucture, or read my personal blog, you might have noticed that I frequently make references to Velocity. When we started planning DevOpsDays US, there was consensus from the beginning to backdraft Velocity. I have a hard time saying ‘DevOps’ was born at any one time or any one place, as doing so ignores a large body of individual and organizational work, knowledge and experience, but Velocity has to be considered seminal in the course of the formation and articulation of DevOps ideas and ideals.
When we first started organizing DevOpsDays for the US, we all had slightly different visions about what we wanted to see and what we wanted to participate in. On one hand, some of us really wanted to use Open Space Technology as the basis for some if not all of the program, while some of us really wanted to have presentations. We all wanted to have a ‘community’ event, but we also wanted to leverage the expertise in that community.
Devopsday USA 2010 will be held in Mountain View, California on Friday, June 25, 2010. This event is inspired by and a continuation of the conversation from Devopsdays Belgium 2009
As we put together an agenda, we are looking to YOU to help shape the event.
The best way to ensure that you get the most out of this event is to make a proposal or suggestion about a topic in which you are interested!
