This is a hands on workshop that introduces users to Consul (www.consul.io), a service networking tool maintained by your friends at HashiCorp. Consul can provide features like Service Discovery, Health Checks, Service Mesh, and more. This is a beginner’s workshop that will cover the following topics:

Consul theory and architecture Consul Basics - Set up and manage a real Consul cluster during the workshop. Service Discovery - Use the Consul catalog to enable an application to find its database. All of the software and features used in the workshop are open source and available for anyone to use for free.
