Joshua grew up in Brooklyn, NY with a twin brother and younger sister. All 3 attended Binghamton University, where Joshua graduated in 2002 with a degree in Computer Science. After Binghamton University, Joshua went to work at Goldman Sachs where he spent 14 years specializing in Linux servers and SAN storage. Joshua Kerchner currently works at Two Sigma Investments, where he manages a team of reliability engineers focused on foundational services, systems automation, and storage. When not at work, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and 1 year old daughter, cooking, and exploring the Hudson Valley.
