He has been an active member of the IT ecosystem since 2018, considerably increasing the level of business collaboration among software enterprises and promoting the region’s business process skills. He participated in the creation and the execution of several initiatives focused on expanding a higher level of capacity for large IT projects for the international markets. Agile, Scrum, Kanban among other quality models and approaches, have given him extensive knowledge and experience.

Marcus Erikson has been active in the Houston software development community for 30+ years. He has worn many hats over the years, including developer, architect, product manager, and manager at startups as well as large companies. He is currently the Vice President of Products at Allied Reliability where he drives the creation of the products to help customers optimize production through increasing reliability and uptime of their equipment. He is passionate about creating successful products and teams as well as helping others do the same. When not behind the computer, he is most likely to be found on a local disc golf course honing his skills.
