Lead Database Administrator and an organizer and speaker for the @BuffaloData meetup group. He has over 20 years experience in Information Technology which is heavily influenced by more than decade focusing on Database Technologies, Cloud Operations, Application Support, and Platform Architecture.

Ryan is an operations nerd at heart with a potentially unhealthy dose of software engineering. From humble beginnings learning why the problem always seems to be DNS, he’s been a Principal Engineer at multiple developer tools companies like Ansible and Vendia.

 

Zack Glick

Zack Glick

Born in San Francisco, grown in Buffalo, educated in Syracuse, and living back in Buffalo after trips thru Rhode Island, North Virginia, and Washington state. Work experience includes for New Relic, AWS Security, Dell Secureworks, and the Syracuse City School District. Zack works as a Principal Security Engineer in cloud security on the defensive side with experience in product security, coordinated vulnerability disclosure, incident response, and threat modeling.

PJ is a Senior Developer Advocate at Spotify, founder of DevRelate.io, creator of CallofConduct.com, and a board member of Open Sourcing Mental Illness (OSMHhelp.org). He has been an organizer of DevOps Days Buffalo, CodeDaze, and ElixirDaze. Additionally, PJ is a developer, writer, speaker, and musician. He is known to travel the world speaking about programming and the way people think and interact. He is also known for wearing hats.
