Dr. Tamer Arafa received B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electronics and Communications, Cairo University in 1993 and 1997, then received master’s in information systems and MBA from California state university in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Finally, He received Ph.D. from Cairo university 2020.

Dr. Arafa is currently an assistant professor of ITCS in Nile Univeristy, and an adjunct assistant professor of Computing in University of North Florida. His Research interests are Image Processing, Forensic Analysis, Big Data, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Intelligent Systems, and IOT.

Dr. Arafa has more than 25 years of Information Technology experience in various roles, including IT software development, IT project management, IT program management, and IT delivery excellence. Dr. Arafa worked in different international organizations including IBM, Ejada , SBM, Edmunds.com, Kaiser Permanente, and Egypt IDSC.
