PostgreSQL has been there since last century and it’s currently one of the most popular open source database engines. But is it sustainable? Is it made for ages? In this talk we will review its development cycle, license model, how the community collaborates, why forks exist, and what’s threatening Postgres from remaining the reliable solution it is today.
