New for 2024 - WORKSHOPS

New this year, DevOpsDays Birmingham, AL will have workshops on August 19 at the Innovation Depot event space!
ACCESS TO ALL WORKSHOPS IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR CONFERENCE TICKET.

What are workshops? Designed to provide deep, practical learning, these workshops guide you through real-world scenarios using the latest tools and techniques. You'll actively engage in step-by-step exercises, from automating processes to optimizing infrastructure, all under the guidance of industry experts. Our workshops are crafted to offer more than just theory—they're interactive experiences where you’ll apply knowledge in real time, collaborate with peers, and leave with actionable skills you can immediately implement. Bring your laptop and prepare to jump in and learn something new. We will be providing pizza from Slice (including GF and Vegan options) for lunch.

New for 2024 - Lightning Talks

Also new this year are lightning talks! Taking place on August 20, lightning talks are fast-paced, concise presentations where experts share key insights, tips, and trends in just 5 minutes! Each talk is a focused, high-energy session designed to deliver information quickly, making it an ideal way to learn about the latest developments, tools, and practices.

General Sessions and Open Spaces

Our general sessions, lightning talks, and open spaces will all be taking place at the beautiful Red Mountain Theatre Arts Campus.

Open Spaces: Open space topics and locations will be announced and done onsite. For more information on what open spaces are and how they work, see a great description here

Food and Beverage: Baba Java is back again providing a wonderful coffee bar that opens at 8am every morning and runs throughout the day. Regular coffee is included with your ticket price and specialty coffees and teas are available for purchase. Breakfast is not provided; lunch will be catered by Tre Luna. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options will be available.

Networking: We have multiple networking breaks scheduled throughout the day for you to mingle with other local engineers, talk with the sponsors and recruiters, or (in the afternoons) grab a drink at the RMT bar.
