Ruthie Irvin (they/them) is a software engineer at Honeycomb.io, where they focus on accessibility, design system adoption, and component development. After pivoting from teaching back to tech because of the pandemic, they learned to write JavaScript through a full-stack bootcamp before completing an internship and then converting at Honeycomb.io.

When not at the computer, Ruthie loves hanging out with their spouse and two kids, engaging in the mystical arts, tending their plants, and reading 5 different books at a time on rotation.
