devopsdays is a globally respected, community-driven conference series that brings together practitioners from across the DevOps, cloud, software, and platform engineering space. Since its inception in Ghent in 2009, devopsdays has held over 500 events in more than 130 cities worldwide. Australia has proudly hosted events in Sydney, Melbourne, and Newcastle - and in 2025, we’re expanding to the vibrant tech community in Wollongong.
Sponsorship of devopsdays Wollongong provides a udnique opportunity to connect with a highly engaged audience of 150–200 professionals. Attendees include engineers, developers, SREs, architects, and technology leaders who are shaping the future of software delivery and infrastructure.

This is a not-for-profit event, run by local volunteers. Your contribution helps cover the cost of the venue, catering, AV, travel support, and low-cost tickets - making the event accessible to a broad and diverse audience.
devopsdays are community-focused, self-organising conferences for devops practitioners that depend on sponsor support. Because of the nature of the event, we do not have a large noisy vendor hall or vendor speaking slots. We do not offer full speaker slots in return for sponsorship, sponsors are welcome to submit talks however. Platinum and Gold sponsors receive a table they can use for technical and promotional material for interested people to come visit during breaks.
Attendees, including sponsors, are welcome to propose any subject they want during open spaces, but this is not ’that kind of conference’ and marketing may work against you when trying to make a good impression on the attendees. The most effective interaction is to send software engineers, solutions engineers, and developer advocates, to connect with the community at devopsdays on their own terms.
We do not ever sell or provide contact details of attendees - this is non negotiable.

Wollongong is a city of innovation. To encourage this we are offering a discounted Startup sponsorship package available to technology startups. This is designed to give these businesses a chance to be seen by the industry and collaborate with the community. If you are interested in this package please contact the sponsorship team. You can help us make this conference accessible to under-represented groups, including youths, or other disadvantaged people that cannot afford the cost of the event. You can offer to cover the cost of several tickets (anonymously or not). If you choose to have your name known, we will display your name and logo on our website, as well as let any beneficiaries know.
