Anish Puthuraya leads data engineering for a large multi-property hospitality portfolio, covering enterprise data architecture across more than 150 hotels. Hotels are not usually thought of as a technology field, which is part of why the problems are interesting. Ten property management systems, an agent with real credentials on the platform, and operators who open a dashboard every morning and have to trust it. He spoke on data quality and trust at the Boston chapter of the Society for Information Management in March 2026. He is based in Boston and holds an M.S. from Boston University.
