Paweł is a Software Engineer at Splunk, a Cisco company, focused on building reliable, observable and scalable cloud-native platforms. He works mostly with event-driven systems, Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments, with a strong interest in making complex production systems predictable under pressure. Currently, he is working on Platform Orchestrator - a project aimed at improving how large-scale platform operations are coordinated and delivered. He enjoys solving real operational problems with thoughtful automation, good engineering practices and just enough process to keep systems and people safe. He is also interested in constraint programming and optimization - especially when abstract rules meet real-world operational messiness. Outside of tech, he spends his time climbing, which, much like distributed systems, involves trust, constraints and occasionally wondering why something that looked simple from the ground is suddenly much harder in practice.
