In September 2025, MHCLG launched Share Homes for Ukraine Data (‘Share’), a system for secure data sharing between central government, local authorities and devolved administrations. Share replaced a proprietary system managed by a third party supplier. We hoped to reduce our running costs, have full control over the data and code, and to expand to future use cases.
