Based on my 3rd and the latest book on this topic that was just published, this workshop/talk will focus on how platform architects, leaders, and platform engineers can use DDPE to improve the overall business value of their businesses.

I will start by focusing on the models and constructs (built for the book) of domain identification, and move onto the concept of the abstraction shift that talks about how to move platform engineering from the traditional infra layer to far more common services. The concept of abstraction shift going through 4 layer taxonomy of continuing to push the boundary of platform layer further up through enterprise services -> domain backbone -> unique domain services is the most exciting part that makes this concept extremely unique

The second hour will be designing the new golden paths and measuring the business value. The golden path design is the exciting part the attendees get to build on their own and can take it to their place of work the very next day to make it a reality. The business value will be truly the connective tissue between developer facing outcomes and the business facing outcome and puts this in perspective.

The workshop attendees will get materials that has prebuilt domain scenarios for multiple business domain verticals (BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing etc).
