Bennett is the president of the Atlanta affiliate of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. In this position, he works to increase acceptance of neurodiverse individuals by organizing sensory friendly events for local schools and documentary screenings. He is especially interested in accessibility in regards to technology.
Bennett’s interest in programming was piqued in high school when he noticed that he could use school computers to play Atari VCS games. Some time later, he heard that people might give him money for writing code.
He’s also sick of hearing the words “ecosystem”, “unicorn”, and “brilliant.”
